Welcome!

This is my place to share my creative bits and pieces. My art has no rules, no limits and absolutely no order. My projects change with my moods but for the last few years, my main focus has been paper art. Cards, collage, mixed media and as many techniques as I can get to. My inspiration comes from everywhere.

I hope you enjoy your visit.

Lately, I've been captivated by CAS cards. Clean and simple. I love the look but have discovered they're not that easy to do. This is my attempt at a very simple, no layer or one layer, depending on your point of view. :)
The tree was stamped with Distress Peeled Paint ink and the MC was stamped with Distress Aged Mahogany. Stamps and ink are from Quietfire Design. The sequin came out of my stash.
Now the critique...
I like this card, however, with CAS stamping it is important to get placement and balance correct. This card isn't balanced due to the images being a tad too low. I will correct this by trimming a bit off the top of the card, but left it to show you how important placement is. I'm also going to keep trying.

I hope you have a fabulous day!

  1. lololol! Love the title of this post!

And this is an awesome card! I love how you've used the lettering stamps over the tree! (and yes, just cut the top of that puppy right off! We would never have known.....)
