STENCIL & PUNCH & DIE....OH MY!

Once again, I am pleased with simplicity. This card began with a scrap on my work table.

The top layer, before I stamped it with the sentiment, was a piece I'd put aside after flipping my stencil onto it. Whenever I stencil, after using it on my project I like to lightly mist it and flip it onto cardstock to print the negative. The print here is subtle because the colours used were so pale. The piece was stamped then trimmed and the corners were punched.

This was layered onto the dark die-cut square, which was then adhered to the card base.

TULIPS & ....YES, SPRING!

I see a theme these days- bright and usually some flowers.

This card uses retired designer paper and some watercolouring on the stamped image. I wanted a couple cards for a little gift today for my massage therapist. She is awesome! This is the other one I made for her.

She liked them and that made me happy too.

BLACK MAGIC SIMPLE

Pencil crayons and a white gel pen lend a certain glow to this image. Add a sentiment and a bit of bling for a finished card that's suitable for almost anyone.

Now, that the workroom is sorted out-it took three days to fill that workbox-I hope to get back to regular creating and blogging.

CLEAN AND SIMPLE

As you may have noticed, I have taken a real liking to clean and simple designs. So far, this one is my favourite. I was inspired by the card s on this post.
