Welcome!

This is my place to share my creative bits and pieces. My art has no rules, no limits and absolutely no order. My projects change with my moods but for the last few years, my main focus has been paper art. Cards, collage, mixed media and as many techniques as I can get to. My inspiration comes from everywhere.

I hope you enjoy your visit.

A GLIMPSE BACK

Lately, it's been Operation Downsize around here. Lots of work but lots of fun too. And the discoveries! The odd photo that really takes us back. Kids toys. How about craft projects from the 90's? I came across  a small  box filled with these cards- more  like postcards, and bookmarks. Click on the photo and you can see it larger. Did you notice......
...the 'style'? What was that? Country cute? Oh well, I remember I enjoyed the process. I love lettering, always have and I know that's why I love the stamps from Quietfire Design so much. Suzanne's calligraphy is gorgeous!

These pieces will find their way into my art jornals or my quote journal. Some may even be bookmarks. I can cut off the older 'art' and layer them onto new back and add new art. I loved discovering this box of goodies. I hope you enjoyed a glimpse back.

I have a post on Quietfire Creations today. Please go have a  look and if you haven't been there lately, check out previous posts as well.

Have wonderful day, create something, and thank you for stopping by!

LETTERING PRACTICE

I found some sheets of heavy kraft paper, bound it into a book and now plan to use it for practicing my lettering. The kraft paper takes ink very well and pencil crayon even better. I'm going to enjoy working in this book.

Happy Easter!
