Welcome!

This is my place to share my creative bits and pieces. My art has no rules, no limits and absolutely no order. My projects change with my moods but for the last few years, my main focus has been paper art. Cards, collage, mixed media and as many techniques as I can get to. My inspiration comes from everywhere.

I hope you enjoy your visit.

JUST FOR YOU WITH JUST SCRAPS

Hi Everyone!
Here's a quick card today, that will help you clear off your work table. Maybe.
You can see how easily I created this card. I cut fishtails into strips of design paper. I stamped JUST FOR YOU onto scraps and die cut them.
Added some sponging along the edges and did faux stitching with a marker.
There you go- quick, easy, and fun!

Thanks for looking and enjoy your day!

FAIRY TALE LOVE

I love this quote and it's all over Pinterest. It is penned beautifully and becomes the focal point for this card. Again, simple stamping with the heart stamp, some ink sponging along the base card edges, and easy peasy--- done! Great stamps from Quietfire Design.

Thanks for looking!

EMBEDDED EMBOSSED MITTENS

When I changed a card awhile ago, I was left with the strip of mittens I'd trimmed off. After stamping a few festive words in equally festive colours, I glued the mittens to the edge of the card stock. Then I embossed it and attached it to a card base. Looks a little windy!
The stamps are all from Quietfire Design and on special-go get some!

Thanks for looking today!

THREE TO SHOW

I want flat, easily mailed cards this year and today's offerings fit the bill.
When they go together quickly too, that's a bonus.
This one would be easy, peasy to make multiples of.

Thanks for looking!

12 X 12 EASY PEASY

I only had one sheet of this designer paper but it became the perfect piece to wrap this gift and use on the card. I also put some on the envelope but I didn't show it in the photo.
The thing about using designer paper is you get a nice card, quickly.
I'm pleased with how the card and gift turned out.

The paper I used is from Hot Off the Press and if you've used their paper you know that it is just that- paper, not cardstock. The added bonus is not adding too much bulk or weight to the projects.

Just a quick and easy one for you today.
Hope you have a great day, whatever it is you're doing!
Thanks for stopping by.

SIMPLE GUY CARD

Maybe I should re-phrase that- the card is simple- not the guy :)
Simple stamping with no need to colour, some dry embossing, tied cord and done!
This one will be a birthday card for a good friend of ours and he is so NOT simple.

I'm working on a variety of quick and easy cards for World Card Making Day and a card buffet.
Stay tuned!

BIRTHDAY IN BLUE

Quick and simple-- who doesn't love that?
Easy to make and regular mail. Too simple for you? Then, it's a great jumping off place too. Sounds like a challenge doesn't it? Hmmm....I'll be back later!

PRETTY IN PINK

Pink is not a colour I use often but I can see that Pirouette Pink may change that. I think it's going to go nicely with lots of other colours as well as shine on it's own.
This card went together in 10 minutes. No technique and very little stamping-not my usual style but nice once in awhile. I'm a technique girl and don't plan to change. :)

What technique have you done lately?  Do you have a favourite?

BYE BYE SUMMER SUN

I know the title for this post sounds like I'm talking to the weather- did you HEAR that thunder?! I am actually saying farewell to another favourite from the current colour palette. On Thursday, all the new colours go live and the
retired ones....well, uh...they retire!
Marker colouring was used for the technique and this card was quick and easy.
I'm really loving the clean and simple, quick and easy cards.

THANK YOU!

This card does not have a big, splashy technique. It's just a simple 'inking the stamp with the lighter colour and adding a second darker colour to the stamp with a sponge dauber' kind of thing. I added a touch of glitter to the tips of the tail feathers and his crown.
It was close to midnight when I decided I needed to make this and it went together very quickly. Just what I needed before sleep.
Anytime can be stamping time! Hope you 'get to stamping' at any time today.
Thanks for stopping by.

Plain Pretty

This card went together very quickly and would be a 'pretty' card The Vintage Vogue stamp set from Stampin' Up! could be one of my favourites, especially for feminine cards.
