QUICK & EASY FALL PIN

Hi Everyone! With the fall colour still blazing all around us, I was inspired to make pins.

These were so easy!

The base is card stock- mine was yellow/orange gelli printed, but solid colour would work as well.

I stamped the leaves with Staz-on ink, then fussy cut around leaving a scant border.

Sorry for the glare- these are hard to photograph. I sponged on more colour, then filled the edge with a brown Sharpie. Once arranged onto the pin back, I coated it with Diamond Glaze.

Once dry, I had a little burst of colour for my fall wardrobe, purse or jacket. I had one to give to a friend as well, and I did.  :)

A 'SORT OF' EGYPTIAN NECKLACE

My friend Julia loves all things Egyptian, so I attempted to create a necklace for her with an Egyptian flair.

The curve is similar to a collar without being one.

She was pleased with it so I am happy.

I see now that I really shouldn't have taken the photo of it against a wine coloured fabric. I learn so much with this blog o' mine.

It has been a gorgeous weekend and I hope you all got to enjoy it.

TANGLED BEADS

I finally finished the necklaces using my tangled beads. They work well as pendants because they will take less abuse than a bracelet would. The beads are sealed with acrylic sealer, they'll tolerate raindrops but not a swim. Why am I telling you this? I want to give them away.

THE BEADS ARE WINNING!

This is the third necklace I've made lately and the first picture I thought to take. The previous two were birthday gifts, already given, so no chance to take a photo now.

About this necklace- check out the coiled beads. Too much fun! I bought a Coiling Gizmo and I'm loving it.

Here's a closer look-

I spent two days re-organizing my beads and jewelry supplies which should free up some card making time now.......if I can just tear myself away from the beads. They call to me you know :)
