So what kind of card do you make for a friend who loves zebra stripes, flowers and colour? Well, this time, it's the one shown here.
Once again, pulled out the butterfly punch to make the zebra flowers. Used the grass tips for the stripes on the flowers and the entire grass stamp for the background. Some inking, more punching, tying ribbon and sticking the whole thing down.
As it was hand delivered, I wasn't concerned about the thickness.
On a different note- I have noticed a developing trend on my blog and I don't like it! Fortunately, I can also change it :)
My posts lately are four and five days apart- ugh! Too long. So, I hope to get to it more quickly. I'd love to post every day, but not sure I could pull that off. I could try.
Thank you for visiting. You know that comments would be lovely- not looking for flattery, just like to know you visit. I'm open to suggestions or questions too.
Have a wonderful day- notice all the sweet things that happen in your day. I am off the make some cards for an upcoming class, so I'm already blessed.
Hi Holly,
ReplyDeleteI'm back from Vancouver, so you'll be receiving my wonderful and " oh so witty " comments again. I know just which friend received this Zebra flower card, very nice. I am now finished all my household chores, and am ready to spend the rest of the day in my studio. Oh heaven.
Gee Holly I wonder who this card was for? No wait don't tell me let me guess...hummm. I'm sure it was a hit as it's a lovely card. Good to see all the value added tips for the stamps & punches too, looking forward to the next one!
ReplyDeleteYou two are clever- I have no doubts at all that you know who the card was for. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comments I really do appreciate them.
Hope you both enjoyed this day!
