I took this photo June 26th, 2011- almost two years ago. Typically, these poppies bloom after the 20th of June. Not this year.
This one arrived today. It may get a little bigger over the next few days, but no question, it has bloomed earlier than usual. I love our poppies!
A few other pretty flowers are out and about too.
