TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS

These two cards were the favourites from the weekend card camp. They are also the two using traditional red & green colours. I'll share the other two in days ahead.

Very little stamping on this one. The designer paper does the work.

Chalking and sponging carried the colour and kept it all subtle. In real life, it is a titch brighter.

CHALK 'EM UP!

Here are two cards that show how you can do anything with baby wipe and chalk card stock, that you could do with any other card stock. The top card shows clear emboss resist done on the flowers. The bottom card has been dry embossed, sanded and inked. There has to be a name for that- if you know it, let me know. :)

The chalk, when applied with a baby wipe, acts like a paint and is permanent once dry. This allows you to do any techniques you'd like without disturbing the chalk.

Break out you chalks and baby wipes and have some fun. No rules, just do it!

BABY WIPES & CHALKS

There isn't  much that could be simpler than this technoque. Pick up some chalk on a baby wipe and rub it onto card stock. Let dry and then treat it as any design paper. This one has been stamped with Stazon ink, using Pocket Silhouettes stamp set.

Ten stampers did this technique last night and we had ten different but very nice results. You ROCK Stamp Club Ladies!

RE-VISITING CHALK LINES

Using a ruler and white eraser to make the lines in the chalked background is a very quick and easy technique. This card was made quite some time ago but seeing it again insires me to do the technique again. By posting it, I may remind myself :)  Really!

My husband pointed out that there are so many techniques, I could probably go back and start again and re-discover lots that I love. I believe he is right.

So, re-visiting past techniques could be the way things go around here for awhile.
