Welcome!

This is my place to share my creative bits and pieces. My art has no rules, no limits and absolutely no order. My projects change with my moods but for the last few years, my main focus has been paper art. Cards, collage, mixed media and as many techniques as I can get to. My inspiration comes from everywhere.

I hope you enjoy your visit.

SCRAPPIN' THE TATT & MORE

I'm sharing some artwork that was done on my wrist/forearm. My first tattoo and possibly the only tattoo. I love it, it has a lot of meaning for me and I'd only do another for that same reason.
Here's a closer look....
I was next to a sunny window so the photo is a tad bright but you get the idea.

I enjoyed the scrapbooking as well. Here's another-

This photo of our boys is over 20 years old! Who knew time could pass so quickly? We blinked and they grew up. The best part- they are close and best buds today.

That's all from me today. Have a super weekend!

MORE 'OURS'

A few days ago, I brought this scrapbook page upstairs and put it on display on my mantle. My thoughts at the time were.."it's okay but..." and I hoped by leaving it alone I could see it again fresh and 'finish' it.
Enter my DH- he has a look and right off says "It needs something at the top. There's too much blank space".
This from the man who tells anyone who listens that he hasn't any creativity.
uh-huh...
Anyway, I totally agreed with him and just had to figure out what the 'something' was.

Better?
We think so. I love his input- it makes the scrapbook more 'ours'.

Hope you are having a terrific long weekend.

RARE SIGHT.....for now

Thanks to Kate for challenging me to use this paper and matching rub-ons because I got another scrapbook page done! I scrapbook so rarely that I don't think of myself as a scrapbooker but I think that is about to change. I enjoyed it so much- changing gears mentally, using different tools ( yay Cricut ) and trying to rise to the challenge. I'm pleased, Kate approved and all is well in my creative world.  :)

Have you been challenged lately? Go on- I dare you!
