Juat a quick look at the Technique Tag collection. It's really growing.

The last Tuesday of the month-like tonight- is when we get together and make the tags. I appreciate you coming out in the crummy weather ladies!

COLOUR BLOCKED BLOSSOMS AND BUGS

Just apply some blocks of colour with a sponge, emboss it and add a few details. Quick and easy.

Same idea but a totally different card. No embossing on this one and it's regular card stock, not glossy. Again, quick and easy.

FRIEND BIRD DAY

A wonderful friend of mine had a birthday and I brought out the toys to play and create a card for her. All but the cord is Stampin' Up! The cord is another colour from the Thrift Store find. The bird was punched from card stock that had been brayered a few colours of blue and green, then sprayed with Smooch spritz. The eye is from the pearls assortment- the tiniest one. So cute!

THRIFT STORE FIND

I love how the grey cord works with this card. It's velour needlework cord I found at our Thrift Store. You just never know what you'll find there.

The tag was coloured with markers and the flower strip was watercoloured.

BRAYER & SPRITZ

Run a brayer that's been inked up with a Kaleidacolor pad, over glossy cardstock, follow with a quick spritz of Smooch spray and you have a pretty background just waiting for your chosen image.

PICK A SENTIMENT --- ANY SENTIMENT

Once the iris folding is done, this card is quite quick to make. Just about any sentiment would work with this design, as would any type of card. I can see a Christmas card being easily adapted, or a Valentine.

If it's too smokey for you outside this weekend, stay inside and try some iris folding.
